The chap in this video is Dr. John Mertens, and he really is the Chairman of the Connecticut for Lieberman party, the party Joe set up when he got beaten by Ned Lamont in the 2006 Democratic primary race, in order for him to contest (and sadly win) the election as an independent with heavy Republican support.

At some point they really need to change the name of their party. Also, they should probably apologise [...]
