I really am truly awful at staying alive in Minecraft. These videos should be mostly considered a guide on what not to do! Today I find an exciting new way to almost die, as well as re-experiencing the old ways. New additions to my tunnel are made, as it begins to reveal its true purpose! In which I delve deeper into the caves beneath my tunnel. What will I find? I also build some ladders and feel sorry for a cow. In which I take a trip to the seaside, prettify my base, and make an (somewhat) incredible discovery! In which I return to the cave of shame from yesterday, fully tooled up and ready to avenge my lost dignity! In which I go for a bit of an explore, and have indignity heaped upon me. The first day of my Minecraft adventure, in which I punch trees, cows, and pigs. I still get a bit quiet in the middle, but I don’t have anything to fix that with at the moment. I’ll just have to be more careful about not knocking my mic away. It’s quite tricky to play, talk, and worry about that all at the same time! A learning experience for sure. I’ve been experimenting at making game videos. Beneath is my first attempt. Intended to be the first in a series cataloguing my Minecraft adventures, it did not go terribly well, either from a gaming or technical point of view. Playing in widescreen has resulted in Youtube surrounding my video in a black box. I shall need to figure out how to avoid that before I have another attempt at Minecraft episode 1! I should probably have hit the delete button, but it would be a shame to waste it!! I’ll scout out a map with a good-looking start point before I start recording next time too!
