Episode 13. Unlucky for some, as I ran into a quite unfortunate bug.

The bug was not quite the one I thought though. To open the spellbook, it has to be in your hotbar. But under Ars Magica version 5.52.011, the version I was using when recording , right clicking with an empty spellbook in your hotbar made you crash instantly, which made me not want to put the book anywhere near that. Version 5.52.012, which Mithion put out after I reported it, fixes that, so we’re all good now, as I’ll prove in the next show!

I demonstrate how to make the tools and ingredients for scribing Ars Magica spells.

    I’ve just made my first Ars Magica spell book. Or, I should say, I *only* just made it. I had been finding spells and right clicking on them, thinking that I was learning them, remembering them, but no. I needed to have my spell book first. :S

    There’s quite a few good spells gone. I think I might have to start re-watching these vids as needed.

    So… I watched your vid again. and realised all my silly fretting was, indeed, silly. All I needed was the inscription table. Because nothing is really written unless you have written it yourself. Or re-written. Re-re-rewritten.

    Anyway. My Earth shifting, Life draining, Swift swimming telekinesis abilities remain. This is what matters.
